Guðrið Hansdóttir

I enjoyed a concert by the Faroese singer-songwriter Guðrið Hansdóttir who came to Augsburg. I found her voice lovely and her songs inspiring. It was a good evening at Hempels.

This was the first time I heard music in Faroese! I was curious how similar it would sound to Icelandic. Guðrið, by the way, mentioned that she moved to Reykjavík half a year ago.
