
Back on the mainland, we left Connemara and went to the rocky region called
The Burren, in County Clare.
It is famous for its megalith relics, such as this
dolmen.

Impressive is also the ground made of eroded limestone
(karst). You must be careful when walking not to get your foot into one of these cracks.

The ruins of
Leamaneh Castle kind of match the picture of this landscape.
