Konrad Maurer. A dissertation about his journey to Iceland in 1858 was just recently published at Tübingen University by Harmen Biró, and I'm currently reading with greatest interest a copy he kindly sent me.
Time-wise, I would like to go in July, for 3 to 4 weeks if possible. And the idea would be to see some of the places that Konrad visited, and to search for and meet with Icelanders, if possible, who have any kind of connection to Konrad and his travel.
