Geocaching

A very happy new year to all my blog readers!

I started with a new interest: geocaching. It is fun, and it's a healthy hobby as it gets me outdoors.

I wanted to try this for long, but it was my friend Simon's initiative who got us to try it. We registered accounts at geocaching.com and were surprised at the sheer density of existing caches all around us. There are several within a 1 km radius of my house actually. And when you zoom the map out to see all of Southern Germany, or all of Europe, or the world, it is completely overwhelming. So many caches, so little time! :)
