The other day in Munich in
Deutsches Museum, the world's largest museum of science and technology.
Deutsches Museum was founded by
Oskar von Miller, who is incidentally remotely related to my family. His wife Marie Seitz was
Konrad and Valerie Maurer's niece.
The museum's main building is on a small island in the Isar river, near Isartor. The location is surprisingly natural and picturesque.
My friend Gregor and I spent most of the time in the museum's big Astronomy department. I love astronomy! I only wish they would update the exhibits at least once per decade in a subject that evolves as fast as astronomy does.
